Another month in 2024 down, and another month closer to warmer, sunnier weather! To keep my mind occupied during the winter months, I get real amped about my grocery hauls. As a foodie, trying new foods and restaurants is just plain fun – but I also think that extends to trying food stuffs in your own home too.
I’m super excited to share this February 2024 Thrive Market haul with ya’ll because I got a lot of new goodies to try this month! Some were a big success and I’m going to be putting them in my cart monthly going forward. Some maybe not as great. But that’s how we find the things we like best right? Try everything once!

New Items to Try
Whether it’s something snacky or an item to make life easier, I’m always on the lookout for the next best thing. Thrive Market showcases some really great products that are better alternatives to the junk you find filling the shelves at big grocery stores!
Here’s a roundup of the new things I got from Thrive Market in February 2024.
Siete Mexican Shortbread Cookies
I really love Siete brand anything – chips, cookies, and especially their different sauces! I’ve even tried their grain-free tortillas. Siete is a brand that strives to provide solid products with quality ingredients and they haven’t steered me wrong yet.
The Siete Mexican Shortbread cookies are AMAZING! I’m a shortbread fan in general, but the flavor of these cookies is elevated with hints of vanilla and cinnamon. Five cookies is one serving size, and at 150 calories, I think it’s a great sweet snack. This is a repeat future buy for sure!
Kodiak Flapjack Power Cup
We’re all looking for time savers, aren’t we? This is especially so (at least for me) when it comes to breakfast items. So, I thought I’d give these Kodiak Flapjack Power Cups a try. I’m not typically a huge fan of something that needs to be microwaved, but I’ll do it in the name of research!
To make the power cup, you add water and zap it in the microwave until cooked. It took me a couple of tries to get the whole container fully-cooked, so that was a small challenge. Overall, the food volume is not very substantial and texturally, it was a little mushy. I think flavors were just “ok” but I would have loved a bigger punch of the cinnamon and maple.
Will I buy these again? Probably not. But if you’re in the market for a quick microwave breakfast that has some protein, I think these are okay to have every once in a while.
Little Secrets Milk Chocolate Wafers
This was a random item I added to my cart when searching for new chocolate snacks. I like having smaller sweets like these where I can just grab one to satisfy my sweet tooth (although truth be told, these are really small and I grabbed two).
I’d rate these at a 7/10 – not my favorite chocolate snack in the world, but not bad either. If you like milk chocolate, you’ll enjoy these. I found them to be a little on the sweet side but I did enjoy the crunchy texture of the wafers.
Seven Sundays Protein Cereal
I’m not a big cereal fan, but in my quest for lazy protein breakfasts, I stumbled upon the Seven Sundays oat protein cereals and added them to my cart. My first taste test was done with the chocolate sea salt flavor (with some Three Trees Almond Milk) and I was longing for more chocolate and salty flavor profiles.
Next up was the maple cinnamon and oh my, what a difference from the chocolate sea salt! This cereal has so much more flavor. I actually started craving it and ate through the bag pretty quickly.
Bonus: this cereal does not get soggy fast, so you can eat your bowl in crunchy bliss.
I’m going to be testing out more flavors of this over the coming months to see what I like best. Stay tuned for more!
I do eat this two cups at a time and at 320 calories for those two cups, it’s not exactly calorie-to-protein-ratio friendly. But I make my day’s macros work around it when I need to satisfy my cereal craving.
Simple Mills Cocoa Cashew Crème Cookies
Another win from Simple Mills! These cookies will give you Oreo-like nostalgia but are gluten-free and nutty. The cookie itself is nice and crunchy and the filling is super creamy. Thumbs up as a good sweet snack to have on hand!
Siete Sauces
Next up in my new item roundup were two sauces from Siete – a green enchilada sauce for a casserole I had planned (with my Sprouts haul ingredients) and their Botana sauce.
I’m a saucy girl – and by that, I mean Iike to sauce my foods. I will quite literally pour three different hot sauces on one taco or burrito bowl. They just enhance flavors so much! Each type of pepper has such a different flavor profile and heat level.
The green enchilada sauce was definitely a win for our chicken fajita casserole dinner, which came out super tasty! I’m going to buy more of these to keep in the pantry for when my husband makes shredded chicken for tacos and bowls. Adding green chile sauce to it helps with moisture and adds a ton of flavor.
The Botana sauce has more smoky flavor profile with the addition of guajillo peppers. I’m a fan! This was great drizzled on top of our chicken fajita casserole, and I’ve been adding it to my tacos and burrito bowls as well. I think this would also be a great sauce to cook some shrimp in for tacos (maybe that will be tonight’s dinner!).
Fire Roasted Diced Tomatoes
Last on the new item list were a couple of cans of fire roasted tomatoes. This is hardly as exciting as the rest of my new goodies, but I needed this for a dinner I had planned and forgot to grab extra at Sprouts that week. I can’t really say these are better than what I normally get but I like the fact that they use organic tomatoes!
Recurring Items
I won’t bore you every month with a detailed breakdown of my recurring favorite items, but here’s what I got in this haul:
- Siete Serrano Sea Salt & Vinegar chips
- Taco seasoning
- Breakfast Blend coffee
- Unreal chocolate caramel nougat bars (the best Snickers alternative – and yes I bought four bags)
- Ecos dish soap
- My new favorite beef sticks in the jalapeno flavor
I will give a special shoutout to the Siete chips, which are made with avocado oil instead of some other highly-processed oils you’d find in typical big box store brands.
Siete always wins in my book for flavors and better ingredients. Get these! I love having a handful of these alongside a protein-packed turkey sandwich for lunch.
And that’s what was in my February 2024 Thrive Market haul!
Is there anything you think you might try from this list?
