What’s this? A grocery haul that’s not from Trader Joe’s?! Well, sometimes there are things I want that I simply cannot get at Trader Joe’s. This is a small Sprouts haul consisting of a few necessary items I needed to supplement my shopping trip to Trader Joe’s.

La Tortilla Factory Low Carb Tortillas
La Tortilla Factory makes my favorite low carb tortillas! I love to use them for tacos, and I’ve tried both the regular flour and whole wheat. They are only 3 net carbs per tortilla, and while I don’t eat low carb all the time, I like to balance out my eating habits as best as I can.
Noodle Ingredients
One of the lunches that my husband and I planned to make this week were cold noodle salads with teriyaki chicken for meal prep. I wasn’t sure if I was going to be able to find noodles at Trader Joe’s (spoiler – they actually had new matcha soba noodles!), so I picked up some lo mein noodles from Sprouts, along with some sesame seeds for sprinkling on top of the bowls.
Ecos Cleaning Products
I’m very into buying cleaning and household products that are less harmful to humans, and to the environment. Ecos is one of my favorite brands for that. I like their laundry detergent and dish soap, even though I do occasionally buy these items at Trader Joe’s (with the Trader Joe’s brand name of course).
Beverages
In this haul, I also picked up a couple of beverages:
- Synergy Kombucha – Gingerade: Normally, I get these at Trader Joe’s but my store was out of this flavor for a bit.
- Olipop Sparkling Tonic – Strawberry Vanilla: Our niece turned us on to Olipop “sodas” and they are a great natural alternative to sugar-filled sodas when you want something a little sweet and sparkling.
Guayaki Yerba Mate
This is absolutely my favorite tea to drink! I can also get these on Amazon, but they seem to make you buy a lot of things in bulk these days. So, I headed over to Sprouts to stock up. Before I started drinking coffee, I pretty much had a cup of yerba mate every week day to start my work day.
Giovanni Ultra Moist Shampoo/Conditioner
When it comes to beauty and health products, I am also very conscious about buying products that are free of harmful ingredients. Giovanni is generally a safe brand for that! I was out of shampoo and conditioner so I needed something right away (call me lazy for not ordering stuff ahead of time). This shampoo/conditioner combo works okay, but not something I will buy again in the future. I have really tough hair to work with!
And that’s all for my simple Sprouts haul! I don’t get there very often since I can usually get most of what I need at Trader Joe’s, but I do love to get Sprouts’ special items on occasion.
